Default Knocking sound from the front end when turning right. Goes away when braking

Any ideas? No wheel play so I didn't think bearings.

How worn are your break pads ? They may be really loose if they're worn significantly. Just because you don't feel any wheel play, that's not enough to say they're ok. You really need to remove the front wheel and put your finger in the bearing and turn it. It should be smooth as silk. If you feel any catching or binding, they need to be replaced.
