Default Help with f4i hid conversion

Can anyone give me any advice on wiring up a f4i headlight with a hid kit on a f3? I was under the impression that I dont need to use a relay with a hid kit... also the f3 headlight uses a ground but the whole hid kit only uses 2 wires.

This was the only thread I could find and would greatly appreciate any advice that will get me on the road TONIGHT!!!

I just hooked up the low beam wire and the ground to the hid kit... When I flip the high beam on it goes off and I have no lights but this is only temporary. I thought I read somewhere that having 2 headlights on at once will do weird things to the charging system on f2/3s???

Oh damn I hope it doesn't mess with the charging system. I hope I can prevent this by swapping out all my indicators to led and I might not even run my headlights during the day. I'll put them on a switch and use the 3rd euro running light only.

Also which wire is the low white or blue? The only thing I found about troubles with the dual headlight happens when sitting in traffic, low rpm low output. Turn your beams off if your worried
