hi so i was wondering would i be able to take the F4i injectors and replace my carbs on my F3, would this work or will i have to make major modifications?

 

Major modifications. Need to have to computer to run them, need to have cats for the computer, need to have O2 sensors for the computer.
There is a stand alone computer that can be used for cars and bikes. MicroSquirt, thats it. Check it out.

 

the short answer is no. you cannot do it. I know that with gobs of money and time, you could mount just about anything together, but for the purposes of this bike and the avarage budget and skill level, you may as well forget about it. it cannot be done right.

I agree, it can be done. Just a fair amount of work. I know of people that have converted Yamaha FZRs.

I agree, though not impossible.

 

as i said, it can be done, but as far as practicality is concerned, it cannot. it would be so much of a waste of money for so little gain, that you would probably be able to buy a whole f4i motor and harness for what it would cost you to do the swap, plus, it probably would never run as well as an f4i motor. i mean, you could conceivably mount a gas turbine engine to this frame if you fabbed it enough... but for the avarage person... impossible
