Headshake
Today while riding came to a quick stop with my front brake. After that when I got up to about 45mph my handlebars were turing side to side by themself. Does any one know what could be the cause behind this, and any possible fix's?
put your bike up on a front stand and see if the pads on one side are grabbing.check the rotors for true.pull the pads off the front and ride your bike to see if the front shakes. but don't try you front while doing this.
Don't buy a damper. They are a waste of money on an F2/F3. Race teams don't even run them on this bike. Check your steering stem bearings and your brakes/rotors. Take your front wheel to a shop and have them check the balance. You might have thrown a weight.
One way to check the steering head bearings is to get up to about 25-30mph and grab the front hard enough to make it dive, if you feel a click or clunk in the handle bars under compression then your steering head bearings are either shot or lose.
The F2/F3 is so uber stable when everything is working correctly that a damper is a waste of money.
