Headshake
It has been raining here since March. On a non rainy day in April I noticed some headshake. The bike had been sitting for the winter and I think that is normal. Those tire were in need of replacing so I had new tires installed three weeks ago. Due to the rain we have been getting here, I have not ridden much. A week after the new tires, it stopped raining for two days and I went for a ride and noticed a very bad head shake at 45MPH to 35MPH (like a paint shaker), when I let go of the bars. It did not rain for 6 hours yesterday so I went to work to figure out the problem. What I found out is, the shop had placed a lead strip weight on the outer left of the front rim and a strip on the rear right outer rim. This would cause the wobble and headshake. I cut the weights evenly and placed them on opposite sides of the wheels as close to the center ridge as possible. This solved the headshake. I used double stick tape that is used to re-grip golf clubs to stick the weights back on. It is pouring out again today. The forecast is rain for the next week. When I say rain, I am talking about thunderstorms. It just keeps raining here. This really sucks.

RE: Headshake
I would get the tires rebalanced, maybe by someone else.
We have been getting a bit of rain here and it's really cold, hopefully it will get better, I have a defensive riding course on this Sunday - rain sucks,
I did get to test my new camo Draggin Jeans in the rain and - not too bad - not wet weather gear either
My mate just has normally jeans, he got wet, so he brought some rain pants, put them over he's wet jeans, sun came out so he rode with dry rain pants and wet jeans, we stoped, he took his rain pants off, rode again, he was hoping to get his jeans dry, it rained again.
End result, Cool looking dry dude ridinga CBR1000F with camo jeans, Wet cold uncool Man on Cruiser, no fairing, no screen, no fun.
