Default Headshake?

I was reading the post the other day labelled "headshake" and was reminded of something my 87 1000f is doing. It is reminiscent of riding over a grating bridge when you have to assure your passenger the bike wont fall down, but not as severe as that. I read the response that mentioned to have wheels rebalanced and I will do that. The pressure up front is only 1 pound over what it says it should be on the tire. The bike was in an accident so the steering points off to the side when the bike is going straight but, I was assured not to worry about this. Are there any other possibilities that it could be? thank you,

~Daniel

Default RE: Headshake?

If you know that the bike was in an accident and it steers crooked, you know that something's bent. It could be the triple clamp, the frame or the swing arm. In the USA there is a franchised outfit called GMD Computrac that uses lasers to measure key points on your chassie. Then with hydraulics and a little torch work they can usually staighten any frameyou've bent. We used them many times during Da Kid's racing career.
