Default gas tank

I am trying to get to the battery, but I dont see how to take the seat and gas tank off? Cab someone please help?

take the LH and RH tail fairings off. to do this you turn the screw that holds them on and gently pull them off. Once this is done, there are 2 bolts that hold the seat on, one on each side. Its a 12mm socket. They are right under where the passenger would sit. With those bolts removed, push the seat forward and lift up and there is the battery box. There is a cover over the battery. You will need to remove the 2 allen head bolts and there you go. Gas tank stays on though. You dont need to remove it.

idont even put those dam bolts in anymore...pain in the *** just to take the seat off. That seats not goin anywhere without the bolts

Unless somebody needs one. You make there job easier, not putting the bolts back.
