Fule Filter/pump problems
I am new at this and hope I am not repeating a thread.
I ride a Honda CBR 600 f3 and when I first turn the key on the fuel pump turns on and fills up as it should. When I go for a ride and the bike starts to heat up it's like the fuel pump can't keep up or isn't getting enough gas (fuel filter clogged?). When I stop or get to where I am going the fuel pump is running and won't stop till I turn the key off. This just started happening about two weeks ago. I have taken the fuel filter off add it was still wet (had gas in it) and I tried to blow air through it and nothing would come out the other side. I let it sit and when it dried I could blow air through it just fine. Is that the way it's supposed to work?
Any help and advice is appreciated.

I would recommend replacing the fuel filter if its a brownish color. The dealership OEM is about $24 bucks that's how much I paid for mine. Then I found out that my local motorcycle shop sells after market fuel filters starting at $2.49. Doh!
Hey there my bad on taking so long to reply. I did order the fuel filter and installed it. Everything is running smooth now. It feels like I am getting a better response from the throttle as well. This was fast and easy thing to do. Thanks for all yall help.
Well I was battling with fuel issues a while back. Turns out that the fuel pump isn't on with the key, but gets a pulse signal from the coil circuit. Anywho, you can test the pump out by jumping it to the battery and taking it for a ride to see how it does.
