Fuel Pump question...

I agree with checking the voltage of the battery when the bike is off and then while it is running. If the points were sticking closed, you would think that it would pop a fuse, I have had this happen and it did not pop the fuse.
The fuel pump can be bypassed at the cost of high end performance. But if the r/r is out, it can cascade taking out other electrical systems.

That's why I said ignore the fuel pump for the moment and work on the electrical. It has already cost one battery. It may have cost a fuel pump. It can cost a stator or icm.

A charging problem could easily explain all of the problems, while a fuel pump problem doesn't. The charging system seems like the obvious place to start.

Hell, check em both. Both checks are quite easy with a multimeter.
