My bike has had the rear fender "cut or shaved or whatever you call it" and I need to know if anyone has a solution to hanging the tag holder and light since the part of the fender that was used for the tag light is gone.

 

I have zip ties holding my tag up, and have a tag light drilled into the "storage" unit. Don't have pics, but can get them if this doesn't make sense.

 

These work well and easy to install will take a pic and post it up tomorrow.

I used the cheapo wiper fluid LEDs from Autozone and faced both mounted side-by-side at my plate. (I also have a sheet metal undertail on my bike)

 

you can buy a mounting bracket to mount the bike on your swingarm. I wouldnt worry about the light unless your local law enforcement has harassed you about it already.

 

i had a shaved one but i had enough room to still put plate bolts in it...thumbs down on the swingarm mounted ones...look dumbtarded on a "crotch rocket"
go from the inside of the shaved tail with a few small strips of steel and make hanger brackets to hang the plate on so it is right underneath the tail light
