Default Front brake switch

Hey guys. 1995 F3. As the PO wrecked the bike, it looks like he swapped the front handle bars that were damaged. As I was testing out the brake light, I was able to get the rear one working by an adjustment, but as I was messing with the front, I see 2 wires hanging down by where I think the front brake switch should be, and I saw 2 threaded holes under the handlebar where it looks like the front brake switch should be. Am I thinking correctly? If so, where can I get one? (preferably someone here have a spare one they can send me cheap?) Thanks!

This brake fluid container looks weired to me. I just cleaned my front master cylinder and the switch is connected directly to the container. I dunno how you will manage to screw the switch to the container you have. it may be better to swap the whole unit. Correct me if I am wrong. But its the first time I see such a thing on F3.

desperado, i think my handle bars are off of a f2. can you tell johnnyx? will the brake switch work on my bars?

alot of the stuff on my F3 was replaced with F2 parts by the previous owner after the bike had a nasty wreck.

I have no idea; I'll go look at my bike later. Either way, I have an entire spare RH assembly, so whatever you need off it, lemme know.

Just checked mine, and the switch mounts in the same place as yours. I've never seen one where the switch attaches to the cylinder. . .
