Default Flush Mount Install

I bought some generic flush mounts from ebay, they didnt come with any instructions. I did a search and could only find wiring details, so i got the wiring down. What i need to know is do you need to drill into the fairings to install them? im just really not sure and dont want to get to drilling if i dont have to. sorry if this is a noob question....here is a pic of them

cantyou makeaholefor the wire to go through and use doublesided tape? thats ifyou dont wwann makea huge hole.

well theres a hole where the factory lights were but i figured it would be to big to just trust double sided tape.....

I drilled 2 tiny holes for the screws on mine. If I took the lights off they really arent noticeable, but I never plan to remove them.
