F4 / F4-I Swingarm in a F3
The F4 swingarm is almost in, well its in but needs some custom bearings makeing so i can use the thinner F3 swingarm bolt in the F4 Swingarm and it clips the inside of the pegs so im gunna have to make brackets to move them out slightly.
It took alot of angle grinding to get it in there, i had to grind down the lil stumps / spacers inside the frame were the f3 swinger used to go and i had to grind down the swingarm quite a bit to fit it in there.

Spot the deliberate mistake .... yer i forgot to move the chain before bolting the swinger in there :S lol
I could not find a guid for a F4 / F4-I Swinger anywere and not even people talking about having done it, so i THINK this could be the first

I wanna do it on my streetfighter eventually, i dont think it looks good on a fully faired bike in my own opinion, maybe you could do it and create a walkthrew for the rest of us

I'd love to eventually do some of the mods he has done.
I think he mentioned the VFR750 swing was a simple bolt on...
how hard was that f4 swing
The F4 swinger was easy, just grinded the spacers off the swingarm and just skimmed the spacers that are welded inside the F3 frame then makeing some sleeves so the thinner F3 bolt will fit the F4 swinger.
I didnt have to make any other spacers "YET" but thats because i need to get the new chain and one of them laser alignment tools to make sure the sprockets staight, if its not ill have to grind a tad off the spacers in the frame again and make some custom spacers but it all looks damn well straight at the moment.
The rear shock just bolts right up.

O and from what i remember of the SSSA mod you gotta make a load of spacers and sleeves then chop the rear shock mount off the CBR frame and reweld a custom mounting point.
but after tuckin that exhaust under the tail, it would be a sexy combo
