yea it was off because it was just sitting that was two days ago when it wasnt running. And it was the battery. I got an interstate plug and play batter (allready completely charged) I put it in, tried to start it didnt go, pop started it. Runs great! idles fine, no back fire or flames, etc. now it starts fine every time i started it today i rode about 50 miles overall. and hopefully it starts good in the morning with some choke.

So i basically stole this bike i traded my ninja 250 in running condition for this bike that didnt run right, ive had it for two days and it runs awesome now that i worked on it myself, cost me under 400 dollars to get it running again, (tires, oil/filter, battery, tire installation)
The guy who i traded with has no idea that the bike is running fine now, and he isnt even going to ride the 250 he said.

That's the BEST part about knowing how to fix bikes. You can buy broken ones for next to nothing, and fix them for next to nothing.

 

Yea except I didnt give the guy any money just my 99 ninja 250 which wasnt worth that much at all. And i figured since the bike was running, roughly, and he was driving it without a problem a year ago, with some work i could fix it. I was a little skeptical because there could have been a big problem with it and I would have to bring it to a shop, but turns out there wasnt any major problems and now it works. but now i have to buy a new windshield since i broke it last night kinda pissed about that but w.e
