nope how do i do that? would i need to add more fluid too?

 

hey just did some searching and reading up on brake bleeding sounds a bit confusing.
let me explain how i interpreted it and you guys can correct me?
so i would attatch a clear hose runnning from bleed valve(dont know where this is yet&gt to a jar with brake fluid (dot4?)
then i would just have to pump then something about closing the valve each pump confused me. thena fter allthe air is out
open the reservoir and fill to the top?
i know i got somestuff mixed up. any help is appreciated.

to bleed remove the reservoir cap from under the seat and pump the foot brake until you see no bubbles ,fill it up pump some more to make sure no more bubbles close it back off , take the clear tube and go to the rear brake assy there is a little nut/bolt with a little rubber cap remove it put the tube on an place it in a small container with some fluid . pump the pedal again a few times hold it down this time an open the nut/bolt slightly you should see fluid flowin out tighten back and repeat till no air bubbles . make sure to keep adding fluid to the reservoir try to keep it about the lower mark until bubbles gone fill it back up then your good to go .

 

no air bubbles in the hose? also can i just pick up one of these hoses at auto zone? or would i have to go to home depot?

 

i mine fish so i cut a piece of the tubing for the air hose it was soft an went over the nipple easy . the hose you get should be soft to go on and stay on without sliding off

 

oktook a look at bike today and i found the nipple for the hose but couldnt find the bolt that you were talking about. is it the one connected to the nipple?

 

yup thats it it opens and closes if you remove the little black piece it should have a tiny hole for bleeding purposes
