Default A/F gauge install

Hey guys. 1995 cbr600 F3.

I saw a post a couple months back and I thought I had saved it to my favorites, but I cant find it anywhere. A guy did a retro-fit of an o2 sensor on his F3, so he could have an a/f gauge. Does anyone have that thread saved, or know of a site that talks about doing it?

I was going to jet my bike but after reading many posts on here I learned that the first gen F3's came rich from the factory, and I might not need to jet my bike, and by jetting it I could possibly cause more harm/headache than good. So I was wanting to install an A/F gauge to monitor it while riding to see how shes doing. I have a k+n air filter, no front fairing so straight ram-air, and gutted hollow can.

From what is barely out there on the internet, there is a o2 sensor which is not heated and needs to be installed very close to the engine, and a heated o2 sensor that can be installed further back. Im trying to figure out if all o2 sensors read the same way, and spit out the same voltage (as per say a cheap car o2 sensor, vs a motorcycle o2 sensor).

Whoever told you that F3s came from Japan rich is wrong. In top gear and at the national speed limit (70 mph @ approx 5k rpm)these bikes are lean as a snake (all carbed sportbikes were). You ad a pipe without carb adjustment, bike becomes more lean. They need to be "fattened up".

Call Marietta Motorsports here in Georgia, ask for Huey.He did this for an SV Superbike he built and did just what you are wanting to do.He did so well that what he did was banned by Suzuki. <lol>

He'll tell you all about it,sell you the parts, etc etc.

Tell him King Kenny sent you.
