hey everyone...i recently bought a 97 cbr f3 off of craigslist for a good price. All of the lights an guages were working fine on the bike. It has an after market 2003 r1 tail fairing and taillight on it. When i bought the bike the taillight worked but the integrated turn signals were not hooked up. I got home and connected the wires (that i thought were right), turned the key and both side turn signals started blinking (flashers-dont think f3's have these) brightly, then got dim, and a few seconds later went out. The only light that works on the bike now is the headlight. Guages and tail light/blinkers dont work completely.
What do you think it could be?! I checked all the fuses (i think) and they were fine. I also fully charged my NEW battery and...nothing
-could it be the ECU?

I would check the wiring to the lights with a test light. If I had power then I would put a direct jumper of 12v to the light and see if it works. It sounds like to me a wire, either hot or ground, that has a bad spot in it either breaking up the current or the ground.
