Check with the manufacturer about the re-jetting. Some slip-ons don't require it. I think you need to get the carbs cleaned and tuned. I didn't think mine were that bad, but then I ran some seafoam through the gas and the idle is improving daily. I still believe they may be guimmed up on mine, but at least I should be OK until the end of he season when I can pull everything apart and let someone else do the tuning.

im geared a little but i get 160 exactly before i have to switch to reserve and it is always 3.5 gal to fill it back up which is only 45mpg. I don't baby it by no means either. worst i ever got was 140 mi

thats really odd, do you think that the 95 model has a different size tank than the others? because when i switch to the reserve, after90 miles it doesnt take anywhere near than much gas, more like 2.8 gallons
