nice, what do you plan to do? im thinking about painting it white, i live next door to a guy that does paint for douglass autobody so he could paint my bike for at or under 100 bucks, but i think i might just leave it black and jsut ride it and have fun. not sure yet.

I'm sure you're going to have a great time with it. Something you can do that will help make your front brake feel better and provide better feedback is flush out your brake fluid. Cheap and easy to do in about 10 minutes. Your fluid was looking a little brownish.

you could probably release that little valve on the caliper to drain all of the fluid and just refill up at the top by the lever. not too specific...sorry!

Have you ever bled the brakes on a car ? You know, your friend presses on the brake pedal while you open the bleeder, then close it before he takes his foot off the pedal. Same process on the bike, but you can squeeze the brake lever with one hand and open the bleeder on the front calipers with the other. Adding new fluid as it gets low is a matter of taking the 2 screws out of the resevoir cover and pouring in new. Be careful with brake fluid. It melts paint if you spill it. I cover my tank and upper fairing (near the fuse cover on right) with aluminum foil, then a rag. A rag so it doesn't spash if I drip some, and aluminum foil because it's impervious to fluids, so nothing gets through it.
