Default Decided to keep...

Well I was gonna trade in my 900RR..But............every time I walk into the garage I just can't seem to even think about selling. The bike is just way to awesome to sell.. Soooooo what i've decided to do was to fix her up and maybe mod her a little. I really wanna paint her another color....Any suggestions as what I can do and what would be reasonable....here is a look....

In my opinion its a beautiful bike stock! I wouldn't touch it, i hope by 06' looks as good 15 yrs. from now..i wouldn't paint it! original paint keeps its value..if anything get a fender eliminator kit, def put red pin strips on the wheels and just give it a nice wax. If anything, u probably have memories with that bike, jus save sum money up nd get a second bike in a few yrs. Thats what i have planned later on with my first 600..

Its a classic in another 5 yrs!! lol..

You're right. I should keep it stock...Where can I get the fender eliminator kit? Also I really think the red stripe on the wheel will look sweet.. thanks

Try Ebay for the kit. I'm sure pimpbikes or hot bodies makes one.

let me just say that everything you love about your 900rr will only get better with a 929 or 954 . as a previous 900rr owner i can say that with certainty

If you are gonna keep it i would not touch it, something about an older bike thats 100% stock yet is cool.

I also agree with Havoc, i guarantee if you rode my bike you would go buy one tomorrow. Lightest liter out there, quick, responsive, stops better, and you would never get another carbed bike again. FI is where its at.

as an oldschool bike owner myself, I think you shouldnt change the paint at all, just a fender eliminator, send me the old signals, and you're good to go.
