Default conversion and mods

i looked through the sight trying to figure out what parts would fit. that question is a pre req. here so i figured i would let anyone who was intersted know my personal experiences with parts. i recently p/u an entire f4i frontend it will work, need to use the 4i's front wheel.600 rr tail now mounted with minimal mods. relocated the rectifier and ecu.had to lengthen the rectifier leads.moved the shock res. to the side of sub frame. i had a 01 cbr 929 for a couple of years. the front end fits on an f41 no problem, so deductive reasoning the 929 front end would work on the f3. but maybe thats a little overkill, dunno. i started in 1994 on slightly used f2 with 6000 miles. when i traded it in a zuki 750( thinking more is better it had all of 20,000 miles on it. a friend bought it and put almost 10,000 more before he wrecked it. next was a yzf 600 R( the slower one not the R6. rid of the yamadog i found myself on a 91 cbr f2 w/ 37,000 miles. it was stolen after putting 9,000 and some change on it. next i was on a zrx 1200, then a 81yamaha seca( this bike was scary @top speed.97 yzf 1000 then an fzr 600. there is no better feeling of having two bikes at once. tje fzr was an older track bike i put back on the street for my wife. beat on that thing for endless miles.along w/ that i owned a cbr 929 2001 red and black. only one in my neighborhood. loved this bike, so much that i was paying way too much for it. so as MY INTEREST CHANGED SO DID THE BIKE. STREETFIGHTER WAS MADE OUT OF IT and cut and modified the wiring harness, headlight converted to some really top notch MIG lights. LSL handlebar conversion with milled top yoke, all the weird stuff like streetfighte bar ends, foot pegs, thati s bike saw an olive drab paint scheme nodeled after an eppisode of orange county. sold it to my brother, paid it off with enough left to buy a bike i always wanted. a 1991 kawasaki zx7, the one with the tubescoming out of the tank . cool bike but way to hard on the wrist. kawi was about building track bikes, not concerned with comfort. which brings me to my current and fully functional bike. That's right it's a 1997 cbr 600 f3. went full circle with size only to find out that i could have never had all those other bikes and been happy with a 600 classbike.929 was fast then rode a zuki 1000 and ealized it was impossible to keep up w/ the newest fastest bike on the block.i forgot how comfortable the 600 class bikes are, and not to mention the increase in mileage. thoght fuel injected was more efficient, not if you snap the throttle at every chance. my 929 only got 130 miles to a tank and that includes reserve. the reserve option on the petcock was missed greatly. a resrve light burns out and keeps u guessing.with a full hindle high mount stage one jet kit and 4 degrees.fixed advance. it moves out pretty decently. of course not like the others but after a full racing cycle of bikes to achieve the baddest. this bike will instill in me the passion for riding tthat i first had with the first f2. it's really about the love of riding and not the speed, eventhogh you get there faster. thanks for letting me ramble.
