Carter and RideNow are both smoking crack when it comes to pricing. They each wanted 175 dollars just to swap out two tires on loose rims and spin balance em. Call Motorcycle Tire Center on Charleston. They were much more reasonable. They do all types of work.

That's crazy... A shop like that wouldn't last a week where I live... Too much competition.

that's outta line! RideNow, "Quoted me $100", of course we all know how "quotes" end up. I synced my carbs, for the first time ever, in 20 minutes.

see i told you. they are all crazy over there. so i have a question. if im going to sync my carbs myself, i have 2 cylinders that when i pull the plugs they are a little white on the tips and 2 that are wet. do i really need to jet my carbs for a slip on and a K&N? can i just sync them and be good?

This is a pretty good "How To" on carb sync'ing.

A carb sync will make the bike run a whole lot better if they were out of whack, but you may still need to re-jet.

I sure as hell needed to change my jetting when I put an aftermarket pipe on my F2, it threw me WAY out of whack... It has actually never ran quite right since I installed the slip-on and that's why this winter it is undergoing extensive surgery!

It doesn't help that I have worn intake valve guides causing me to have a fuel/air/oil mixture!

"per carb" ???????

You cannot sync ONE carb... LOL

The idea of a carb sync is to put ALL of the carbs in sync with each other...
