about a month ago i had a wire on my rectifier short out causing my bike to lose power to ignition switch.it was after dark so i called a friend to help.we ended up towing the bike to his place,on the way i dropped the bike on the right side.after fixing the shorted wire she started fine but ever since then i can only get half the rpm ..ive been thru the carbs,compression is ok,all four cyl are getting spark and fuel(w new plugs)jst changed the oil,cam timing marks all line up.im a pretty darn good shadetree mechanic and im stumped here.its still reliable but just wont do over seven rpm,sputters out after that.she had a hard life before i got her but has ran fine after a lot of work (3 months at least of no problems)any ideas would be greatly appreciated thanxs
