Default CCT Replacment

Hello, I was wondering if someone had a link with pictures on how to replace the cam chain tensioner on an F3? I found one on another site but it was on an F4 so I don't know how similar they are. I basically just need to know what all needs removed on my F3, on the F4 page I found the guy just removed the gas tank and was able to replace the CCT. I think I'm going to just use a stock cam chain tensioner instead of the A.P.E. manual tensioner. Thanks in advance.

hey thats my post! sweet! yeah, that little nut and bolt has worked great for me so far, ive put a little over 700 miles on it since ive done that little fix and havent heard the chain bounce loose or heard any new noises.

just take off your right lower fairing and you'll see it. read the post that tells you how to install the bolt and it will keep your chain tight.

keep us posted.

Well I used Joe325's idea it only took about 20 minutes to get the plastic off the bike and install the bolt/nut and I believe it set me back a whopping $1.25. I took the bike on a ride and it sounded great. Thanks guys
