Default Rear Tire Replacment Help

Ok guys. For those of you who don't know I laid my bike down on the freeway this spring. I bought a new swing arm (new to me) and a new tire/rim (new to me) off ebay. I thought I put the tire on correctly but when I tighten down the axle nut the rear tire locks up solid. That tells me I did something wrong. I looked at a microfiche but I can't tell what I did wrong. I do think there is too much thread showing when I tighten it (from what I remember). Has anyone screwed up like me or have a good photo of what the back looks like?

Thanks
Thom

Spacer? I will take a look at is. That would sure make me happy if that is it. Also does anyone know if there is a difference in rim sizes between the 04 and 05?

Spacer? I would check torque on bolts first, then find out who packed your bearings. I want my old name back, but the old email has since been shut off.

Ok. Packed bearings? I just took my old tire off and swap the rotor, sproket and put it back on. I think I forgot the spacer. Since I have to take it back off again. Should I plan on packing some bearings (not been trained that so hopefully it is easy, if not I am hoping one of you reply with a quick tip on how to do it.......hint, hint, hint)

Thanks
Thom

Put a small pile of grease on your hand and slap the bearing into the grease and go around in it. there really is no wrong way that I know of thats just the way I pack bearings.
