Default CBR600F3 fairing removal and install

I recently bought a 95 cbr600f3 came with some road rash on the right side then i took a lil slide and gave it some more (smooth move i know) went online and bought a new set. I looked around the site but couldnt find any information on how hard it would be to remove my old uppers and install new upper fairings. All the other fairings i have removed and reinstalled multiple times (couldnt help playing with the new bike) just wondering if this is something i can do or something i should take to someone with better knowledge than myself. just worried about all the wires and dont want to screw anything up.

Any advice is really appreciated

Venture within your abilities, but also use it as a way to learn more about the motorcycle. WHen it comes to fairing work, most shops aren't going to be thrilled to do the grunt work and you'l pay for their effort.

Start by getting and using a maintenance manual, if you don't have one. Early on, it covers fairings. A genuine Honda manual has decent schematics that I reference often when working on mine.

The uppers are a pain and there are lots of small parts and hardware up there. You didn't say if you bought aftermarket fairings or sourced OEM on eBay. I originally sourced used fairings and pieced my '98 back together after a track wreck. It worked while I concentrated on important stuff like suspension, brakes, etc. Now that the essentials are done, I'm knee-deep in installing aftermarket fairings, as you can see from my other posts.

The guys on this forum are a huge resource and a great bunch of fellow CBR'ers…lot's of data to search.

Think you'll be ok if you have a small amount of know how.

Try the PDF here

Good luck
