Hi very new to the world of bikes and ive started with a cbr600 f3 1996. Bike has be great for the first 1500miles of me having the bike (32k on the clock) but it starting making a ticking noise which wasnt constant every time i took it a garage the noise wasnt there. i looked around and found the CCT was most likly the promblem, it wasnt and since i did a full oil change and oil filter its constant from starting to warm in the area of idle to 5-6k but this might be becuase i cant hear it over the bike. the bike has no power loss at all either.

Any one got any idea's what else it could be.

Tried. Oil change (10w-40 castrol)
Oil filter
Brand new CCT
also exhaust is tight

 

If it's on the side without petcock then it's timming chain tensor wore out. They ain't that expensive, but if you do get one I'd advise one that Puts tension automatically so you can set and forget it.
