Cbr 600f3 problem.

Default Cbr 600f3 problem.

Hi.

I have a problem with my cbr 600 f3 98, when i'm driving in 1 gear its no prblem.but when i shift to 2,3,4,5 or6 gear is whee the problem starts.i can give full throttle and it starts to cut, power,no power,power ect.i cant get it to go clean.i have changed sparkplugs,i have cleaned the carbourator.

The problem started after i took of all the plastic,headlight, display and when i washed it.


Any ideas ???

try disconnecting the air solenoid valve..the plug is on the right side of the bike, on the upper, side of the frame

If its faulty you will have to bypass it.

it sounds like the air solenoid valve is bad. when you are riding at low speeds..the intake air is from the little hoses behind you front fairing, once you get over a certain speed, your intake air switched to the ram air. (controlled by this solenoid) it sounds like the bike is starving for air..disconnect and the bike should run fine if that is the issue..
