Default 98 CBR 600F3 for $3k?

So i'm the 2nd person set to look at it tomorrow. hopefully the first guy doesnt take it but I think he will. I called within 2 hours of the listing of the ad as well! anyways its only got 9500 miles, never been layed down, has been pushed over a couple times... asking $3,000. it is black and burgundy. this is going to be my first bike.

question is, is this something i should jump on? it seems like the price is amazing for the condition and the low mileage.

Hello & Welcome!!

Doesn't sound too bad....how much do you love it? That also could be a line he's giving you to bump the price.

these should be good for my bike, just some protection for low speed falls and tip overs. hopefully no crashes.

Congrats, an F3 was my first bike, they are great bikes. Don't underestimate it it has more power than most people think.

Grats on the purchase!
Good idea looking at frame sliders, those are typically the first mod I do to any bike I get.
