CBR 600 f3 headlight problem
OK I need help on this. When I turn my bike key on the light will come on and then when I hit the start button the light goes off and then should come back on, but sometimes the light won’t come back on acts like if there is a short or something. If I hit the start button again really quick or rev the bike a bit then sometimes it will come back on, but won't stay on for long.
I had read in another thread saying to check the solder and it was loose and I re-soldered it and worked for a bit. Now the issue is back and don't know what else to look for. I have checked the solder and all looks good still.
Any ideas? Has anyone had this problem?

Is this a stock halogen bulb?
You mentioned that throttle operation sometimes causes it to come back - The circuit that interrupts the headlamp operation is actually the starter button itself - when not pressed the starter button completes the headlight circuit. When you press the button to start, that circuit is broken and the starter circuit is completed. You might pull the switch housing apart and make sure all of the contacts are cleaned out & that there isn't anything that is getting between the starter button contacts keeping the circuit from closing back up.

Ok so I just used the thin solder to do this fix. When I went for my ride the light went out again. I got back home and took the starter housing about and found that the wire I had soldered came off. It was like it had gotten to hot and just popped off. I decided to use a heavier solder the rosin-core solder which is better for electrical work. It worked great I went for a three hour ride and everything still looks good. I used the Kester 44 Rosin Core Solder 63/37.
Thanks for all the advice hope this helps anyone who reads this.

600f3 headlight back running lights.
Hey sorry to pop up I'm having an issue my headlight and back running lights is not working. Got battery power none of my fuses are blown and the wires on my starter switch seem to be ok. Do you have any idea what could be my problem. Could it be my rectifier causing this issue. ...??? Any help would be awesome. Thanks
