To me it looks like it fits. At first I was looking at starter/alt. I think what that is related to is, applied voltage makes it a starter and when the shaft is spun if not disengaged, it becomes a generator not an ALT (a dynamo). In the case of the 1kF, the dynamo is disengaged when the engine starts and the ALT becomes the charging system.
I had a bike with this system. The one in the link looks like the exact fitment to the 1kF.
