to me it sounds like the needle or seat has build up in it to where the needle wont sink in all the way. thats why gas is overflowing because it never stops pouring gas into the carb

it sounds like It just needs to be cleaned really good. But if your not sure what to do I would try to find a professional who will do it for a good deal. it sucks taking those carbs out let alone putting them back and not having it done right (I just went through it). plus they will know if you have any jets that might need to be replaced

just try to figure out what to do, local show is going to charge me 110 a carb, to have it clean and rebuild, i talk to someone, he told me remove the float, and di frame(spelling) and soak it in carb cleaner for awhile, not sure is going to be a good idea. i don't know there's any o-ring in the carb, so i don't want it to destory and end up have to rebuild it

$110???? That's like $440 total!!! I was quoted $300 a month ago and I think that's pretty much going rate according to what I've seen on this board. $440 maybe if you are in New York City.

small town outside of dallas, texas. i know it was too high, i got the float bowl off, and i was thinking using some type cleaner with lube in it, where itll clean it and lube it the same time, made by i can get it to lose it up. taking the carb off is the last thing, there are two brass , look like pick up, for the fuel, i was thinking put the straw though and spray the xx out of it, may be it'll work
