What are your experiences using tinted visors? Do you think they are worth using? I get really annoyed when the sun is low and you can't see f**k all, but don't want to spend £30 if they are rubbish.

Cheers

Mike

i just picked up a scorpion exo 700, you can buy a photochromatic visor for it (or the 400 and 1000) which changes tint depending on how bright the sun is, i love it. stay away from chrome visors, once scratched they let in light in those spots.

I got this helmet a while back & its got this additional visor for day riding. It was not the reason for getting it, but it really works. Don't have to put the sunnies on or take em off. Just flip it back when you don't need it.
Oh yeah & its a Nolan

Yea go with the tint... its easier to see and it looks better, but keep the clear one because they are always useful and not that hard to put back on

Tint is great- I have a gradient tinted visor that is actually gradient smoke to mirror on the outside. I love it. Don't get caght after dark without a clar replacement though, sucks, and lifting it sucks too, more bugs at night.

I will have to do a search when I get sometime tonight. It would be nice to get a visor that fades as it gets lighter.
