Im getting slight kinking but i can straighten it out with little force however my chain rattles like a mad man if you tap it with your shoe, the rollers are bouncing around whenever you touch it, never really noticed, i take it thats not good. Only other thing i can think of is the clutch basket, it has a a bunch of plates that could be rattling around as well as all the springs, any input on this? My plan is to order everything that could be the issue thats relatively inexpensive, ill grab a chain, should i go for the basket? Anything else?

Yeah, sounds like the chain is almost done. If the noise is really bugging you, then I'd say replace the chain now and see if the noise goes away. I'm betting at this point it will.

Clutch baskets can rattle. Especially at idle with the clutch pulled in. Under load they make no noise. I really doubt that would be the cause of your noise. My bike has had a loud basket rattle forever. It rattles like a mother when stopped, but quit when riding. Basket rattle is completely harmless, so I just go with it. It's just the plate and steels getting a little bit looser. Nothing to worry about. Eventually if the clutch goes out, then I'll replace mine.
