I'm going over to look at a 1995 CBR 600 F3 tomorrow morning. Anything specific to that year that I should be aware of and look for?

I just bought my 95 f3 and I dont know **** about bikes yet but....... bring a good friend, don't get all excited look at the frame from the back make sure it doesn' t die or sound funny. take your TIME. you don't want to buy some one elses problem. and let him do the talking you can ask all your questions but try to feal him out. do not let any one pressure you, it is your money and your investment. watch out for stunting , weelies type stuff . rub your fingers over te forks, if they are oily then they are leaking and you will have to get matanaince. if it is your first bike you have to be calm and not buy some thing you have to change oil, tires carb,chain ect. there are plenty of people sellin bikes with no problems and in my mind if he is strait up with you and not in a big hurry and you love the bike and it is ready to roll get that bike. otherwise patiance will pay off, it is way easier to buy a peice of **** than to sell one if you know what i mean. hope I could be of some assistance to you like I said I dont know bikes either but intuition says don't go alone and don't fell pressured or nervous. your friend don't have to know crap abought bikes, mine didn't but save me from some little weasle tryin to pawn off a 01 katana that looked all beat up. when i asked him ????? he was like I don't know, but then after was tellin me about the bike and the gas was probably bad and thats why it was boggin out in first. so I picked up on his B.S. just use commen sense and you will be fine. good luck and hope to see it if you get it.
