bought another CBR this one non running anyone want to help?

Well took it for a ride and at least it runs is all I can say lol. Didn't move fast at all I got it up to 100 but took wayyy to long.. just seems real ssluggish. Also it takes forever to warm up. I idled it for 3-5 mins and road it round the block and the temp barley went up granted its cold here right now but still should be warmer than that.
I know the season is ending here soon in Michigan but I would like to get the thing running right before I put her away for the winter.

Very cool. Did you sync the carbs? that can account for the sluggishness if you didn't.

No I haven't yet. Guess I'll ride in and have him sync them.

It's astonishing how much better an engine runs with accurately sync'd carbs. It's night-and-day.

Basically right now you have 16 separate fuel circuits doing their own thing. After a proper sync, you will have 16 acting in unison as 1, all reacting the same way at the same time with each twist of the throttle.
