Well after putting it all together i cam across i slight problem. The rear fairings (i think that what they are called) line up with the frame fine, but when i went to put the rear light and cowl on the hole to bolt them down to the frame are about an inch off. There is also i gap between the seat and the rear fairings on both sides. Not sure if the seat is from a 97-98? how can you tell. The fairings and light is definitely a 96 beacuse of the shape of the light.

Based on the pictures, your seat is a 97-98 F3. The rest looks fine.

 

well ill be damned. Good for me then i guess. I wanna go the 97-98 tail anyways. Guess im almost there. Thanks for the info.

 

No problem. Just get the 97-98 tail fairings, and the tail light and you should be good.

 

Yeah that's what i read. I was comparing the seats on google and i do in fact have the "newer" seat.

 

how can u tell the difference in the seats mine has that same gap. i know i missing one piece jus wanna make thats all i need.
