Default Upper Cowl Fitment issues?

Anyone else have trouble getting the windscreen holes to line up on the upper cowl? Not sure if this is a fitment issue with my new chinese fairings or not. Fits fine for the left Upper Cowl.. can't get the right to line up.

I remember I had this same issue with my older fairings.. after I removed my mirrors it was a PIA to get the holes to line up.

Defn think its a fairing fit issue, but can a couple bike drops bend anything up there?

When I was putting my bike back together it took a little bit to get the screen back where it supposed to go. It kind of....stretches and bends into place over the two holes on both sides.

I've had a bit of the same issue on my 98F3. Just be sure to get all of the bolts
started before you tighten anything down and it should work out.

Other-wise, I would venture that it's been down and the main stay has been slightly
tweaked. That's a bit harder to diagnose, try sitting on the bike with it standing
straight upright and see if there's any difference between the l/r tips of the main stay.

Either a twist, in/out or up/down (or a combination). If so, you might need to put
some 'english' on it with a pipe-wrench and possibly some heat to ease it to back,
into matching/line-up to the left side.

Hope this helps, Ern
