well i went to start my bike (and try to fix the carbs still) and it poped and sparked and then just clicked so i figured that i blew the relay. if i only knew i had a guy look at it and he found out what happend. the starter had worked its self loose and broke the piece thats in the starter cover and that had lodged up against the bendix but whats worst is that it cracked the block.

i havent got it back yet but i think i can have the spot welded back and just buy a new starter and cover does any one have them and if so how much?

 

Man that does blow[:-] You can try Bike Bandit but they're almost as much as a dealer. You can also try e-bay.

 

Not good, sorry that happened if its not a bad crack you should be able to mend it.

 

I'm sure you can have someone weld it up if it isn't that bad.
