hey guys,
i just cleaned out my carbs the other day and when i put them back on the bike didnt crank at all. i figured the battery was dead so i took it to autozone and had them charge it up for me. Now when i put the battery back in, i got nothing. not even the lights turn on. is there anyway to test to see if the battery is bad? im lost at this point. any pointers would really help. thanks!

 

check and make sure that your battery wires are connected, not to the battery, but on the other side... even if the battery as dead, when they recharged it, it would hold the charge long enough to at least crank the bike, assuming that you put in back in within a reasonable amount of time. also, check your electrical connections for the ignition....

 

got cha, i waited about 10 hours to put the battery back on, couldnt do it untill after work. ill do all the things you mentioned and see what happens. thanks melophat
