I'm really thinking about it haha. I love this look, but I also love the full plastics look as well.

I know, but look at your options:
  1. Buy OEM fairings, pay $700+
  2. Buy Cheap-o "Hong Kong" fairings, and deal with them not fitting quite right - Pay $500+
  3. Buy whatever scrap fairing you can find here or there, and have your bike look like patchwork - pay $600+
You got a nice deal on your bike, but I don't know how much more you want to drop on it. I bought my 96 F3 in March '09 with 10k on it, jetted, w/exhaust, and it was in PRISTINE condition, and I only paid $2k. Granted, I talked the guy down from 3k, but my point is the same. It's not a $10k bike.

You've got a good point, I'll save up for now and take care of the most important things and sometime in the future I think I'll go the plastics route.
