Default Bike Just wont stay running

So first things to get out of the way,

-No fuel pump, the relay was bad so i just pulled both for now
-New Spark Plugs Today
-Pulled carbs for a cleaning today, they were cleaned 6 months back and looked fine pre cleaning today

Bike has been sitting for about 6 months since it last ran and even at that time it was just started in the garage, hasnt been on the road in about 8 years due to an accident. It seems like its not getting fuel. I have the airbox off and if i spray a shot of starting fluid in each carb it will fire up for about 5 seconds and thats it. Occasionally it might idle for about 10 seconds. I dont have the gas tank on the bike atm, its being repainted, but i am using a large spray gun cup with convieniently fits snug right around the fuel line as a mini tank atm. The carb bowls are filling with fuel but thats it, any ideas?

Thanks,

Blake

Those carbs won the battles but i won the war. After pulling them a total of 12 times, tearing them down and cleaning them, the bike finally runs like new. During this cleaning process the bike went in this order over a 4 day process...

-Not running
-Idling only on 2 cylinders with full choke, any throttle action and it would die
-Running ok on 2 cylinders, slow throttle would rev it up

The last 2 times i pulled the pilot adjusters and they were really really bad, i had to use carb cleaner and brasso polish to get them clean again. I ended up having an issue with 3/4 not flowing like they should, 1/2 header pipes would get hot and 3/4 wouldnt. On the final cleaning i took the carb cleaner with the straw and sprayed each small hole in the jet area and made sure i could feel liquid flow out the opposite end of the hole, then did the same with my air compressor and a needle attachment, rinse and repeat about 4 times. The needle attachment really helped i think, those carb and jet holes are so small pretty much anything could get dried up in there. Also i dont think the carb rebuild thread shows the 3 microscopic holes inside the throttlebody tubes where the throttle plate is, those things are sooooo small its deffinetly an easy place to get blocked.

Thanks to Johnny X and Dissevered and the forums!
