hey,
i was taking the carbs apart last night and raising the needle position. when i took the E-clip out, it got loose from the needle nose pliers and i lost it. my question is, where do you think i can find a replacement? I'm in the process of rebuilding my girlfriend's isuzu and while that's taking place, shes been using my truck as her vehicle. my vehicle is the bike then of course, and i dont have the time to order an e-clip from online. do you think a stealership, or an autozone would have something similiar?

that was a good idea. i drove all around town today, no one had the right size, so dynojet is going to have to send me some. its going to take 4-5 bus. days, but at least its free. they had good customer service too. they wanted $30 to overnight it tho...

 

I know this sounds crazy, but go to a local copier dealer and talk to someone in the service department. They will have all kinds of E clips and likely one that will fit. I work for a copier company, and in a prior life I was a copier technician. We have them laying all over the place. I'm sure they'll give it to you for free. Look up Savin, Toshiba, Ricoh, Canon, Minolta. Any of them will have them. They're very common in the copiers. Small ones too. Just bring one with you.
