well went out and checked just a little bit ago, and here's what I found

3 yellow wires to ground = 3 open circuits
between the 3 yellow wires = all read 0.00 ohms to each other

What does the no resistance between the yellows mean? I had my multimeter, (which is a good one before you ask, it's a Gardner Bender like $100 model, so it's not crap) set on 200ohm.

It mostly means that your Stator is just fine. I think that unless you've had your meter calibrated, that it wouldn't be unusual for it to not read the 0.1 ohms. The Stator is basically 3 coils of wire. There is really no resistance in those wires with the exception of how long they are.

Ok, sweet, I'm glad that checks out. Now my next question. When I turn my ignition on, the oil light and neutral light come on, but are dimmer than normal, the back lighting is also on but dimmer, also the horn and starter switch do not work. What should I check to diagnose this problem? Thanks for your help.

Exclamation

Hey, I was wondering why my horn/ starter won't crank, even when I have 13.5 volts out of the battery, and all fuses, including the main fuse, are good. It will crank over really slow when I have a charger on a start circuit, but that's it.

Subscribing to see if the gsxr regulator fixes your problem

Well, I know it will fix the voltage regulator problem, but as for the current situation with not having any power to anything, that it won't fix, I have a short, or bad connection somewhere.

My 97 F3 developed a similar problem a ride a few years ago. My low beam went out; I didn't and know it and continued to ride for awhile. When I stopped she wouldn't restart and after a bump start I experienced the same refusal to rev and bouncing revs settling back to idle. My battery like yours measured good voltage. I replaced my regulator/rectifier but that didn't solve the problem. THE FIX (for me at least); NEW BATTERY, Perform a load test on your battery. When my 97 acted similarly, my battery measured fine with bike off but the voltage fell to like 4v under load.

My 97 F3 acted the same way a few years back. Long story short, I needed a new battery after I replaced the regulator/rectifier. My battery would measure good voltage but failed under load. Try a load test on you battery.

Sorry about the double post. Didn't realize when I joined that my answer wouldn't post for 24 hrs or so and I answered twice mistakenly.

Well, I got her running today. It turns out that my battery had a dead short in one of the cells, brought it into the dealer, they tested it, and gave me one on warranty. GSXR 750 R/R works awesome!
