Hi all,

My bike died on me on way home from work a couple of weeks ago (blown main fuse) and upon changing main fuse instantly blew the fuse in half. I done a few checks on it and found it to be a faulty rr. I ordered 2 rr units (1 as spare as I last changed 6 months ago) and the bike was fine until this morning when it wouldn't start. It cranks but then the starter slows like the battery is dead. . I checked the battery after replacing the rr and was getting a 13.3v charge at idle and 13.8 @ 5k revs but now the battery is down to 11.4v while off and when I try to start it drops rapidly to 3v. Has the blown rr I took out also fried my battery or should I be looking at something else? I'm trickle charging the battery overnight in the hope I can get some life in the morning.

Any help would be appreciated.

You may want to start looking at your wiring harness it sounds like you have a short somewhere.
