Default 98 CBR 600 F3 Oil Pressure Sensor

Hey guys, Im new to the site and just recently picked up my first motorcycle, a 1998 CBR 600 F3 with 19k miles. When I first got this bike and it was warmer outside it ran perfectly fine, as the temperature started dropping (40ish F) Ive ran into this problem when Im really getting on the bike and racing my oil light will come on, shuts the bike off and forces me to pull over but starts right back up first try every time. Oil was just recently changed and when I ran into this problem I ensured it was at the right levels and it is. I think its safe to say my actual oil pressure is fine otherwise the light would be on all the time. Thinking I have a bad pressure sensor and maybe moisture somehow got into there? Looking at replacing it as I can find a good used one for cheap. Has anybody experienced this problem before or heard anything about it? And also does anybody know the procedure of replacing the sensor? I cant find anything online or in my manual about it. Thanks in advance everyone!

Make sure you check the wire going to it as well, see that it's not pinched anywhere or rubbed through. Replacing it is easy, just loosen it slowly so you don't break the threads off in the block. I wouldn't buy used, you can still get them new off of an oem parts supply site for cheap.

Do you happen to have a link for the new OEM oil sensor? I can’t find a new one anywhere only used.
