Bike Inspection
Sup fellas!
I have a salvage 97 f3 that's gotta go thru inspection. Bike looks and runs like new but it's missing a few pieces. I'm looking for the rear signal and marker lights. I found the marker light on ebay but what I'm really looking for is the whole piece that comes with the signal lights. At this time the bike has integrated signal on the brake light but don't know if that will pass Inspection. Any suggestions?

AFAIK, Integrated signals pass inspections in all states. So long as The bike has dim red running lights in the rear, bright red brake lights, and amber intermittent signals for turning, you're all good. They will also accept blinking bright red if you're using the brake light as a turn-signal (many old cars, and also modern bikes do this). I'm fairly certain marker lights are not legally required.
Your state's DMV \ Driver Facility website should have a comprehensive list of what's required.
BTW: Make sure your bike is legally registered, the plates are attached, and you have the proper license endorsement when you show up, or they'll write you a ticket and impound your bike on the spot.
