Default 1995 I need help please strange issue

So I bought my first bike today it's 95 cbr 600 f3 the guy had to jump start it but I just thought cause it's been sitting for a while.. the bike started up fine and I took it for a test drive and it was on fine for a good 15-20 min and turned it off and started it up again perfect before I left... I got home after work and it won't start.. I jumped the bike and it started fine it ran kinda rich and there was white smoke can't tell if it's water vapor or it being cold or what? I probably only had it in half choke and I figured out after I let the bike idle for about 15 min again and slowly reving the bike hoping it would help it didn't.. when the bike was idiling I tooo the cables off let it sit hopped on the bike didn't even put the kick stand back but right when I get the bike from off the kick stand it dies? So the kick stand is still down the bike is idiling but dies immediately after it's sitting up right? I'm so confused?? Please I need help any suggestions would be greatly appreciated I hope my first bike isn't gone to ****....

Try disconnecting your side stand switch? Maybe its shorting in there somehow and killing the engine. Check its wiring and such.

If I'm not mistaken, that wont work. There is 3 wires for the sidestand switch. 2 of them need connected to each other after eliminating the switch in order for the bike to start. I forget which 2, I'd have to go look at my bike to be 100% sure which ones.

Roger. Thats more or less what I meant. One of them was shorting or somethin. Good thing to clarify as I wasnt specifically sure.
