Default 1995 cbr 600 F3 problem PLEASE HELP!!!

Just bought this bike and it was running perfect with no problems. My first day with it wile moving it, it fell over. After that the bike would stall out in first gear unless you reved the RPMs and feathered the clutch, once in second it would run fine. I found out that I was only firing on three cylinders so I took out the carburetor and cleaned it as well as changed the fuel filter, plugs and did an oil change. Now the bike will idle perfectly and is firing on all 4 cylinders but as soon as you give it throttle the engine shuts off. I changed the oil, fuel filter, and spark plugs and there are no pinched hoses and everything is put back together properly. The carburetor has some type of RPM restrictor that wont let you rev it too high in first gear and there was a very small drip out of the petcock but only when is the on position when the bike is off (I don't think this is the problem but ordering a new one), this has to be a fuel problem and I can't figure it out PLEASE HELP!!!

I don't mean to sound like an azz, but do you have the kickstand up when you put it in 1st? It took me like an hour to remember that i forgot to one time Can you revv it past the "limit" in N?

Got enough gas? Not trying to be an ***...my bike would start with the choke on but when you go to give it some gas it'd die. Realize I was running on empty :P Also, you could check the fuel pump by starting the bike and putting your finger on the back part of the pump. You should feel it pulsating once every 2-3 secs. At least that is what I read

^Yeah try that too. Also, are you letting it warm up with choke on? Doesn't have to be full choke, just enough to keep it running smooth. I started mine the other day for the first time in a month and tried giving it gas while the choke was on and it died until it warmed up.

Yeah it hhas enough gas and it's warmed up, trust me I've already tried all the simple things that make you go "oh **** I can't beliee I didnt think of that." I'm gonna check to see if it's the fuel pump someone told me it can't be the pump if it starts but maybe it is

I checked the fuel pump and its clicking steadily while in idle, as soon as you give the bike even a little gas the engine shuts off

I know you mentioned cleaning "a carb" - but have you checked that your jets aren't clogged? Had a similar problem with mine - a good carb refresh and all purring away nicely again
