Default What other tranny will fit?
So I need a new tranny on my f2 project, will an f3 tranny fit, or for that matter what are all the possible transmissions that will fit?

I havent checked too far into it but from what i understand the only difference between an f2 and f3 in terms of motor are a fuel pump, throttle position sensor, and ram air.

Tranny synchro is different (closer ratio in later gears).Don't know if it's interchangeable.

Why would you want to change? Just use the F2 stuff.
